Statement of the Objective The objective of the study is to gain broader views on the analysis of the subject’s (Halina Mountain Resort) vital components and areas which are directed towards the success of the company’s establishment. In this study, certain factors are taken into consideration to determine whether changes or improvements of policies, strategies and other aspects are needed to be done. Furthermore, the subsequent stability and profitability of the company are taken into consideration. Factors which will affect such are studied and analyzed so as to formulate development of strategies which will help the company achieve its success. II. Central Problem One of the main issues that Halina Mountain Resort is the risk of high competition among its nearby adversaries engaged in the same industry III. Areas of Consideration (SWOT Analysis) 1. Strength – Halina Mountain Resort is a company owned business. – The first Resort in the area that has a restaurant. – The resort is the first resort to be reached in Laguna. 2. People's perceptions of belonging vary according to the way they see themselves and their world. Individuals feelings of alienation and belonging is perceived by the way they see themselves and their world. As individuals become accepted within their new world, their surrounding forge acceptance, thus alienation becomes less apparent. Individuals foundation of belonging from alienation through the way they see themselves within their world is conveyed within â€Å"The Blind Side†, and â€Å"Felicks Skrzynecki† by Peter Skrzynecki.Within these two texts individuals similarly generate a sense of belonging in despite of cultural differences thus overcoming their struggles to gain a perception of acceptance within their world. Whereas â€Å"10 Mary Street† by Peter Skrzynecki portrays his perception of himself as belonging to his world and within his home. Individuals perceptions of one's self worth within their world effects their sense of belonging. The Blind Sideà ¢â‚¬  is a powerful projection of cultural injustice and the misperceptions of cultural identity that shape an individuals sense of belonging, Michael does not belong within his community. The long shot of Michael sitting in the stands alone projects Michaels isolation from the remainder of his population. This broad shot generates an image which makes Michael seem miniscule within his world and thus his perception of his self worth is conveyed with negative impressions, Michael has no sense of belonging as he sits abounded, alone in a shot which over shadows him. I look and I see white everywhere. White walls, white floors and a lot of white people. † As Michael is being brought into Leanne's family through this dialogue it is conveyed that it is a difficult transition, Michael see's his race as a barrier between the acceptance of his new world, which highlights the void between the rich white population and the less fortunate culture which Michael was born into- Michael doe sn't perceive himself to belong.Through plot development alienation becomes less apparent and Michael is adopted within new culture that he becomes apart of, Michael belongs to his new world. Leigh Anne asked Michael â€Å"You're gonna take care of me right? †, and Michael responds â€Å"I got your back† this conversation highlights the strong bond that has formed between these two individuals, and thus in juxtaposition to the first shot Michael is no longer alone. Leigh Anne is reliant on Michael who has changed her life in a positive way thus Michael's self worth has increased.As Michael is accepted within Leigh Annes family a strong bond is formed within his world. Through his increased self worth Michael feels a sense of belonging brought in spite of his alienation. Through the alienation of cultural barriers individuals sought for other means of belonging. â€Å"Feliks Skrzynecki† explores the hardships of cultural barriers and how these can create alienati on in the failure to belong within his world, similar to Michaels alienation within his world. â€Å"Did your father ever attempt to learn English? , this cruel accusation depicts Australia's unforgiving nature for foreigners failure to adapt to a certain culture. The incapability of Peter's â€Å"gentle father† to change himself to belong to his new world leads to a sense of alienation and an exploration for other means of belonging. Peter writes his father â€Å"Loved his garden like an only child†, and â€Å"He swept its path ten times around the world†, projecting a strong connection that his father has a place that he belongs and is accepted.The symbol that the garden is his child conveys the strong connection that the man and garden have with each other; a child is dependent on its parent to survive and thus this becomes a metaphor for Feliks and the garden- the garden needs Feliks to stay healthy and thus a strong sense of belonging to each other. Feliks continuous sweeping of the path creates a sense of routine which demonstrates a sense of belonging as well as routine the use of a hyperbole emphasizes the amount of time spent in his garden reinforcing the strong sense of belonging experienced by his father.From alienation further means of belonging are sought for as seen through the importance placed on his fathers cultural connective friends to reminisce upon the past, Felicks belongs to the past and places significant importance upon his homeland; where they all feel a greater sense of belonging, â€Å"Talking, they reminisced about farms where paddocks flowered with corn and wheat, horses they bred†. Another connection which generates his fathers sense of belonging is the changing from a farm to a garden where he has always tended to nature and thus this is a place familiarity; a place he feels he belongs.Thus Peter's â€Å"gentle father† is alienated within the Australian culture but has sought for other means o f belonging within himself and his cultural identity, forging happiness and acceptance. Therefore Felicks perception of his own happiness and surrounding have generated a sense of belonging for himself within his garden. Belonging is achieved through an individuals security and belonging to a place as seen within Peter Skryznecki, â€Å"10 Mary Street†. The employment of a personal voice emphasises a sense of authenticity which allows for the theme of belonging to magnified.Skrzynecki's use of first person allows the reader to forge a relationship with the persona thus the composers themes are conveyed with an extension of a sentimental bond. As of the importance of pay to employees, compensation and benefit programs can provide as a major indicator of possible discrimination in the organization. However, pay policies can also be used to lessen discriminatory behavior and encourage diversity. Though potential race and age discrimination in compensation is a significant concern, most of the applied and research attention has been aimed at sex related issues, particularly comparable worth and pay equity (Treiman & Hartman, 1981). Organizations can lessen the negative effects of their compensation practices by auditing their policies and then, based on the results of the audits, distill their procedures to eliminate bias, and where necessary, regulate the pay of minority group members. The type of audits that organizations can engage in will correspond to the three major theories, approaches, or techniques used in significant pay discrimination. The three major approaches or types of audit are (a) an equal pay audit, (b) a pay equity audit, and (c) an analysis of across-the-board problems. Employee and Labor Relations The National Labor Relations Act of 1935 ( NLRA) specifically stated that the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) was empowered to remedy unfair labor practices by the issuance of cease and desist, and reinstatement and back pay orders, and by ordering affirmative action in effectuating the policies of the NLRA. Though the NLRB’s authority is limited by the statutory requisite that its orders should effectuate the policies of the NLRA and should be remedial, not punitive, the principle is one of governmental flexibility and authority to need affirmative acts by a party who has violated the law, so that an unlawful act is efficiently remedied. Such affirmative acts include, inter alia, the employment of individuals who were not hired or were fulfilled for discriminatory reasons, and, in cases linking unfair labor practice strikes, the reinstatement of striking employees yet where the discharge of striker replacements would be necessary. Interestingly, there is little or no evidence that the use and principle of affirmative action in the NLRA framework had any bearing on or resemblance to the use of those words in the context of favored treatment of minorities and women. For employee, performance appraisal can be conceptualized as an organized description of an individual’s job-relevant strengths and weaknesses that is their job performance. Though job performance data can be obtained either objectively (hard criteria) or judgmentally (soft criteria), the term â€Å"performance appraisal† is characteristically used in the context of, albeit not limited to, the latter. Performance evaluations can result in discriminatory outcomes via two mechanisms, (a) poor or ineffective appraisal or rating practices and (b) intentional distortion resulting from motivational and political factors. Concerning the former, two strategies have traditionally been advocated to address the problems with judgmentally based performance data: rating scale development and rater training. The results of rating scale comparisons indicate that format modification alone does not result in much improvement in performance evaluations (Woehr & Miller, 1997). Though, frame-of reference training, which emerged from the social cognitive approach to performance appraisal, appears to be quite effectual as a rater training approach to increasing the accuracy of ratings (Woehr & Huffcutt, 1994). In addition to rater training, job analysis must serve as the basis for constructing the appraisal instrument and the appraisal process so that employees are appraised only on job-related factors. Conclusion EEO and affirmative action in its classic form is mandated for companies entering into agreement with the federal agencies by executive orders 11246 and 11375. Yet the term has come to signify a much broader range of policies. Affirmative action has become a blanket term that refers to any number of active policies approved by organizations to remedy the effects of discrimination. In spite of of the multiplicity of affirmative action program types, however, the perception of affirmative action remains comparatively undifferentiated. In particular, many continue to associate affirmative action with quotas. There seems to be a widespread assumption that affirmative action is little more than favored selection based solely on demographic group membership. The objective of this paper has been to review and confer HR practices that can be used to achieve diversity in organizations. Sexuality Paper Essay In today’s society, we as men and women are burdened with a double standard of how one’s sex life is supposed to go. We hear from our friends and family, from churches and neighbors, that sex is something you do with the person you love and trust, someone who you are going to share the rest of your life with. Sex comes with marriage, and with marriage comes a promise that you will remain with this one person â€Å"’til death do us part. † But this is no longer the case, as people all over the world are having sex way before marriage. We develop attractions to the people we see in school or in the workplace, and we date each other, and in other cases, we â€Å"hook up.† This is where sex comes in. It seems as though we may have lost that meaning of sex and intimacy and promise, and now we have developed a game. A race even- who can have sex with more people? Who is the most experienced? Who is the best? And as we all want to try and win this race, backlash is inevitable. As men increase in numbers, they increase in â€Å"manliness† and power among each other. As women increase in numbers, they decrease to â€Å"sluts and â€Å"whores† or to â€Å"easy† individuals. Where in the world did this come from? Of course, the power of man did not originate in the 21st Century. Man has been the number one sex as early as the 1600s, when scientists, doctors and religion claimed that the bodies of men and women were one. A body in this time period was â€Å"fluid,† and ever changing, and men and women were represented in a hierarchy. A male body was a perfect body to compare all others to; it was strong, full of heat and truth. A female body was one that lacked vital heat and perfection, making these bodies the inverse of a male body. Women retained, inside, the reproductive structures that are visible on the male body. Women were weaker, softer and colder and always looked down upon. They were also considered more out of control and their morals could not be trusted. A less perfect body meant a less perfect character, citizen and being. But when the 19th Century was upon us, the idea of one body changed into two bodies. However, with this change, the idea of women as a lesser sex was still in motion as scientists tried to figure out the purpose of women, along with the role they should play in society. Physical and â€Å"natural† differences in the bodies of men and women justified the roles that men and women should play. This ultimately led to the view of separate spheres, of men as superior and â€Å"normal† and women as strictly here to reproduce and provide nourishment to their children and families. With these separate roles of men and women in society came gender roles, of men being â€Å"manly† and providing for the family, staying strong and representing his family in a positive manner, while women held down the fort at home, cooking for her husband after a long day at work and caring for the children she brought into this world, raising them to be respectable people just as she and her husband were. Women were to be feminine and dainty and beautiful, polite and have self-control. Men and women were to be opposites of each other, especially in the high class, white world. With these images, the role of sex in each of the lives of men and women became very different. For men to want desire and sex, they did as they please, since they were in charge and held the power. Men did not need to limit having sex to just the woman they were married too. But for women to think this way was considered out of control and even named Nymphomania at the time. Women resorted to ways of rebellion and sexual pleasure on their own such as solitary sex and relationships with other women. And as women pursued their sexual desires and needs, they began to pursue their needs in other ways too. Women have led a long fight in society in the workplace and the political world, constantly fighting for a piece of the power that men hold so close to them. The 1900s were a turn around for women in society as they earned the right to vote, the right to work outside of the home, to live alone, unmarried without children. Women were fighting to be equal with men, to be looked at in the same way and to be treated with just as much respect. Today, we have come a long way in this process as a society; we see women in power in politics, not just in The United States, but in other countries as well, where women are Presidents and Prime Ministers. So where and when did this double standard of sex come to be in our world? Why are women still looked down upon in the subject of sexual relations? To get some answers, I created a survey, and asked some people of my generation what they thought about this double standard, and if they even think it is still around today. Through Facebook, an ever-climbing social network, I posted a survey for anyone to take, asking 10 questions. Why or why not? 8. I developed these questions to try and answer many questions of my own. I am very curious to see what people have to say about this double standard and these connotations created by society, and I want to know where this judgment of having too many sexual partners comes from and how both men and women deal with it. I also want to know if people think this double standard has changed as we have advanced socially in our world, and if people really question the society they live in. To start, I received 29 total participants, with 27 who fully finished the survey. Since the survey was optional, I will use all of the data I have received. 20 of my responses were from females, although two of them only answered the first two questions, their age and sex, and 9 responses were male. More than half of these responses were 18-19 years old, five were 21 years old, and I had one of each of the following: a response from a 20 year old, a 42 year old, a 47 year old, and a 53 year old. I was surprised to see results from people well out of my generation, but thankful for these as they provided very different insight into this topic. In the first question, 22 participants answered no, they have not changed the number of sexual partners they have had for various reasons such as being content or not ashamed with the information, or they do not care what others think or that they should not be judged or given approval by others. I also had some answers such as, â€Å"it is a small number,† â€Å"I only tell those close to me,† and â€Å"I am not a whore.† On the other hand, I received six responses saying yes, simply for the reasons of embarrassment and not wanting to be judged. One answer was hard to place, for their response said they did not change this number, but it was only one person and they sometimes deny it. These answers left me with the observation that generally people are confident with their sexual choices and feel that they do not deserved to be judged, so they do not let it effect them. Others are afraid of embarrassment and shame. So why do they feel this way? My next question asked about the double standard of men and women, and the connotations related to it. I was interested in learning what participants thought of this negative standard in society. I received a large variety of responses, such as many displaying disgust and unfairness or anger and sadness, misjudgment and discrimination, even indifference and annoyance. Many gave similar answers in saying that men should not be glorified or in control, or that they should be â€Å"scolded† the way women are, or that there should be no standard at all and everyone should be looked at through the same eyes. Many participants questioned this double standard and the equality between men and women in society, even giving answers such as men and women have created this double standard themselves, and genders perceive their own gender in ways that they deem themselves hurtful or shameful, and also mentioned that society needs to be more informed. Others said this double standard was outdated, and that people â€Å"know what they want,† and that â€Å"sex is normal† and â€Å"we make our own decisions,† as well as, â€Å"we live in a Patriarchal society.† Others, such as that last response, accepted the double standard, saying they were raised to believe this, or it is just a part of evolution and Darwinism, and that we should all just stop taking such hard offense, even that this standard will never change. Many of these responses had me wishing that people questioned society more. Why don’t we ask ourselves and others why we feel the way we do? If so many of us are against this double standard, than what is keeping it alive? And while it is alive, how are we protecting ourselves from it? That is the question I gave next, and I received three similar types of responses. The first seemed to be a string of advice, or things one should not do, such as do not care, do not judge, do not hook up, do not get involved with bad people, do not share this information, do not be bias, do not be a slut. The second type is advice saying that we should only share important information with those close to us, like family and friends, or specifically only those we are intimate with and care about, people we trust. The third type is that we should stand up to others, for others, and for ourselves, that we should question society for these connotations, and that we should break down these images society has placed on right and wrong. It looks as though some people are thinking critically here, questioning society and proposing we fight it, while others are creating more standards for society, such as those things we should not do. If we are so against society’s standards in the first place, why create more? My next question was more personal, asking what a person’s number of sex partners means to them, and to society. Many people said this represents how a person feels about themselves in a general sense or the standards they set for themselves, with things like insecurities or shyness, sexiness or promiscuity, even being easy, all come with having more sex partners. Many said the amount of sexual partners a person has depends on what they consider intimate, and whether or not emotion and intimacy has a â€Å"deep resonance within the individual,† or that we do not take sex seriously like we used to in the past. Some brought up the double standard introduced in the beginning of the survey, saying that more sex partners for a man meant praise and a woman was considered a whore. To society, participants talked about sex partners being a level of â€Å"coolness† or experience, how responsible we are and how well we are able to make decisions, as well as the fact that having a large number of sex partners is often represented in the media on TV and in magazines. I even received some responses that a high number of sexual partners shows how many times a person was under the influence. With these responses, it is evident that the number of sex partners a man or a woman has means a lot, to us and to society. Only once did I receive the answer of â€Å"nothing.† It seems as though sex and the number of partners we accumulate determines who we are and what kind of values we hold, yet sex is seems to have lost its true meaning of intimacy, closeness and love. My next question asked if a higher number of sex partners held by a male or female meant they had more experience. This question was a little vague, as people may define experience differently, but I was interested in seeing how we interpret experience, and how it relates to sex. Most of my responses said yes, these two factors are correlated, that more sexual partners equals more experience, simply for the reason that they have been with many different people, experiencing different things. But others argued against this, saying that â€Å"experience is not quantity, but quality,† many gave examples such as having only few sex partners for long periods of time, and being able to intimately get to know their partner, to â€Å"explore the body and it’s wants, needs, likes and dislikes,† is considered more experience compared to someone who has slept with many people just one time. As I stated earlier, participants agreed that experience means different things to different people, and I was interested in seeing how they interpreted this question. It is similar to my next question, which asks if participants considered having more sexual partners to be less pure. Most participants said no, that a number does not determine purity and that we never know the full circumstances of another individual. Some interpreted this in a religious way, indicating that purity was related to God. I had some answers that God forgives anyone and does not see anyone any less if they have more partners, as well as purity is disgraced with any form of premarital sexual activities, and since many of us partake in them, they do not matter. Of the responses I received that said yes, more sexual partners means one is less pure, said purity depends on age, and that being pure is ultimately remaining abstinent, or even that purity is related to cleanliness. One said we are more prone to sexually transmitted infections with more partners, and that if one is less pure, they are unclean. I was especially eager to read responses to this question because again, I was wondering how participants perceived the word pure. Very few interpreted this as a form of cleanliness, and many related it to religion and God. But many people said no, that purity and the number of sexual partners a person has are not related. I then asked if anyone had ever considered how being with another in a sexual way would change their social status, or that of their partner. The majority answered no, that they had never considered this before, some for the reason that they have never experienced this, or it was not considered at the time. Others responded by saying that social status does not matter during sex, only love and care for the other person is considered, or that they were not concerned with what other people thought. Of the few who answered yes, I was given many responses related more to how one would think of himself or herself after, not of the other person. Two responses I received were worried about how they would be looked at because of the status of the other person, specifically because of age and reputation of their partner, even race. This question has me questioning society. Are we really equal? Participants generally said that social status does not mean anything, yet we have socially segregated the sexual actions of men and women, creating a negative social status for women in the world of sex, while men rise above them. We argue that this double standard is wrong, yet we do not consider the differences we create, setting standards without even realizing we are doing so. My final question was directed at the idea of this double standard changing in society, and if anyone thought the opinions of others regarding to the negative connotations connected with men and women were changing. The majority of my responses were yes, that this double standard is changing, but for many reasons and in different ways. The main change observed in the responses given was that the outlook on women in society is changing. Women are becoming more independent, free and open, in society and the workplace, and it is now more acceptable for them to have more sex partners. The power is becoming more evenly distributed and it is not as much of a big deal as it used to be. Other responses were more general, saying no one cares anymore; we are becoming more lenient as a society, and specifically younger generations are not as concerned with their reputations as older generations are or once were. I also received some responses stating that society is changing it’s opinions for the worse, that this double standard is getting worse, or people are â€Å"getting pregnant too young.† Participants who said no, this double standard is not changing in the minds of society, said that people still talk of the number of sex partners, that we hear it on TV and in the media, and we discuss is with family and friends, or that the double standard â€Å"still stands for the most part.† With these responses, it looks like people see a change in this double standard, that as a society, we seem to be moving away from it and into equality. So why do we let the number of sexual partners still define us? Why are we still making judgments towards individuals, setting a standard for right and wrong in society, if we say that this double standard is decreasing as a whole? We could ask an endless amount of questions and analyze the thoughts and feelings of every individual in the world, and almost always get different answers. As a whole, I think we, as a society, need to stand up and speak out against the issues we perceive as wrong, and question the standards that we have set for ourselves, and society. We should question why we stand for something, or why we are against or for another, because it seems to me that we disagree with the negative connotations linked with sexuality and sexual activities, yet we enforce them in our own, as we create judgments and standards for what is right and wrong. It is true, that women are rising in society to be more equal with men- we have proof of that. Men and women are slowly becoming more equal in every way compared to what they once were so long ago, but are we becoming equal in the world of sex?

Economic and Employment Impacts of Tourism Tourism Impacts Tourism is regarded as an industry with enormous economic impacts that has been widely studied from a variety of research perspectives. Over the past decade, the interest in tourism development as a regional economic development strategy plan has been increasing rapidly as tourism is now being seen as potential basic industry that provided local employments opportunities, tax revenues and economic diversity (Gursoy et al, 2002; Getz,1986; Jurowski et al, 1997). The travel and tourism industry today is the worlds largest and most diverse business factor where a report by the UNWTO stated that in 2014 there were 1133 million of total international tourist arrivals and US $1245 billion receipts worldwide. The importance of the tourism industry is served as a main source of generating revenues, employment, private sector growth and infrastructure development in many countries (Gee, 1999; Chen Wei, 2009). Studies on the impacts of tourism have demonstrated that a destinations population acknowledges the economic and social benefits and also the cost of tourism on the respective community and lives (Murphy, 1985; Harvey et al, 1995; Jurowski et al, 1997; Choi and Sirakaya, 2006; Dyer et al, 2007). Furthermore, the impacts studies that were emerged during the 1960s drew more emphasis on the economic growth that acted as a form of national development which could be measure in terms of Gross National Product (GDP), rate of employment and the multiplier effect (Krannich et al, 1989). However, some researchers have emerged with some drawbacks of the impact of tourism in local community in terms of economy and ecological vulnerability (Briguglio et al, 2000; Briguglio, 2004; Sutton; 1999; Sutton, 2001). According to the Inter-Organisation Committee (IOC) (1994) the following types of the impact of tourism that needed to be considered is: social, cultural, demographic and economic. The IOC also stated that the focus should be on the more significant impacts, information and appropriate measures should be used and the impacts should be provided in a way that it can be understood by decision makers and leaders. The positive and negative aspects of tourism development may be referred as a chain of impacts with different linkages and is illustrated as a conceptual form in Figure 2.4. The aim of this study is to provide an overview of the effects of the tourism expansion on the economy and briefly understand the mechanisms that bring out the effects of each link in the i mpact chain. In the next section, the major positive and negative impacts of tourism development will be discussed and Table 2.0 will provide a summarized list of the major positive and negative impacts of tourism on a country. Economic Impacts Tourism play an important role in stimulating economic growth by creating jobs, provide foreign exchange, enhance technology, produce return on investment for emerging countries and improve living standards in different countries (Eadington et al, 1991). Hall et al (2008) indicates that the tourism industry has the largest value in the worlds industry and it is a more effective way in expanding business and increase income than any other sectors compared. The tourism industry acts as an invisible export medium that brings in wealth which is used to toward the contribution of balancing payment, production, account deficit and employment. In 2012, the tourism industry generated 8% of employment worldwide (Candela and Figini, 2012). Eadington and Redman (1991) concluded that countries such as Ireland, the Caribbean and Egypt used the income from tourism to improve their economic development whereas country like Cambodia, tourism is one of the major source of income for future economic d evelopment. However, the development of tourism can also reduce the dependency on primary merchandise as a source of export earnings. Brown (1998) stated that over-dependency on a single source of income can be very risky. Employment Impact The tourism industry continues to grow into one of the most dynamic economic sectors according to the UNWTO as it acts as a reliable tool for sustainable job creation. Many studies have concluded that after several research that tourism does help in increasing the amount of jobs (Davis et al, 1988; Tosun, 2002; Weaver Lawton, 2001). Tyrrell and Sheldon (1984) discovered that the creation of jobs was one of the four most frequently mentioned benefits of tourism. However, Turner and Sears (2014) stated that the travel and tourism sector is a leading employment creator all around the world by employing more than 98 million people and representing around 3% of total world employment. The employment rate in this sector keeps on growing and is more likely to stay high. For example, Table 2.1. displays the tabulated date retrieved from Figure 2.5. i.e. between 2012 and 2022 the estimated creation of extra jobs is listed as 63 million. Tourism being a service industry, is mostly argued to be labour intensive in nature and that one major impact of tourism is that it acts as an engine for employment creation. There are many different perceptions about people with social anxiety. People who do have it are often seen by others as just being shy, aloof, constrained, unfriendly, uneasy, quiet, indifferent, or diffident. The people who are afflicted with social anxiety may be clouded by these perceptions as well, so they may fail to seek treatment. Because the problem is generally unheard of, they may think that they are the only ones who suffer from it. People who do seek treatment are misdiagnosed 90% of the time, often labeled as "personality disorder", "manic depressive", or "schizophrenic", among other things. This is because social anxiety is not well understood by the general public, or medical or health care professionals. They are not even sure of the real cause of it or what it stems from. Those with the disorder usually know that their anxiety, thoughts, and fears are irrational and unfounded. They realize that it is angst and terror that they are experiencing. They know that people around them are not really critically judging them or evaluating them constantly. They understand that everyone is not out to degrade or embarrass them. But despite this logical knowledge and sense, they still continue to feel and believe differently, thus, thoughts and symptoms of anxiety usually persist with no indication of going away. People with social anxiety may usually experience extreme distress in some of these situations: when they are being introduced to other people, being teased or criticized, being the center of attention, meeting important people or authoritative people, being watched while doing something, having to announce something in a public situation, embarrassing easily, or making eye contact. My Favourite Sportsman

My favourite sportsman Kimi Raikonnen is my favourite sportsman. He is a Finnish racing driver. When he joined the Sauber Formula 1 team he was only 21 and had raced in only 23 car races in his life. But he had won more than half of them. He won the Championship with Ferrari in 2007. Then he took a break from Formula 1 for a while and raced in rallies, but last year he returned back, driving for the Lotus team. Many people were there and waiting to get inside. We waited about half an hour at the gates to get in.After that, we took our places and watched the drivers’ preparation before the race. When t hey started their engines and got the green lamp to go, it was very loud. I was really enthusiastic, because my favourite driver was Kimi Raikkonen and I’d like to see him winning. I was very happy when in the half of the race he could overtake Schumacher and he lead until the end of the race. He and his team had a chance to win the world championship because of his first position, but unfortunately he couldn’t win it at the end of that year.
